Small photo batch
Here. I promise someday I'll stop being lazy and post impressions of Budapest. It's all written out, it just needs to be pared down because it's huge, and it'll probably bore you all to death.
Interview/guest teaching appearance went so-so. I will have to wait until next Friday to find out if they want to offer me the job. Honestly, I suspect they might be looking for someone more experienced, but I am glad they took me seriously so far. Also, now that I visited: so would kill to work there... as would anyone who likes teaching, so I bet they had tons of people applying for the job. The job is a pay cut compared to most other (scarce) teaching jobs in the area, but the kids are (and school is) awesome, more than makes up for it. Besides, I just need to make enough money to pay off my loans, I never went into this thinking I could make a living at it.
I'm kinda trying to stay positive, but also bracing for disappointment.
